no, its not, your mana can regen after you take hits (the best thing about es sorcs, you can tank a lot unless they get many hits in row), but your life wont replinsh nearly as fast

well
i play certain modded realm
and it's better to be 1 pt es sorc than 95% in certain cases
too long to explain
but basically, u can tank more elemental dmg this way

base es build is meant for tank purposes, it does work with bmanas, but then again pumping energy on that build is stupid.
