And IIRC, the damage reduction by energy shield is only 25%. The cap for gear is what, 55? Therefore DR maxes out at 80%. That's a lot, yeah, but you're sacrificing a lot of damage to get to that point.

I think you missed my point. The damage taken while under energy shield can be reduced to 75% of it's original value. I know that it absorbs 95% of damage.

I may have worded it wrong.

it must be fun to die in 1 hit to an foher or blizz sorc in a pubby game with ur '07 spawned bvc

sry sir, but 20/5 & 20/11 charms are the only choice for bvc's. Ar/life/max gcs fail for the exact same reason that 3/20/20's fail

learn how to have a balanced inv ... and who the fuck cares about foher ? 1 viper eye + 1 wisp (which is gm) and he's over anyway (with a few life lr sc's in inv, nn 37 x...)
and same goes for cold sorc
all that while maintaining 7,2+k life (without any kind of precast)
cheap stacked res bvc is maybe fun vs rands in pubs, but you're highly disadvantaged vs all non ele chars
