i always make a mf pala [items provider] but a little bit diferent... cant afford hoto and enigma so i use wizard socketed with all resist/str jewl and a Ptopazed Qhegan... other items are same except maras.. there are many better fcr amus for pala with str and resists mods...(maybe and a few mf included)
i put no str atr but only dex to make the 75% and all other goes vita...
im lvl 92 half and got 87str (no zaka needed just a good low str req 45all resist 35FCR spirit)
my mf is 210atm , my life is 1800
when i get a mp enigma i put wt as well so i get 140-150 more mf...
i can walk all the way to baal without any potion used thakns to redemption ofcourse...
and i find many good uniq elite items... also i use my mf pala as a low gf too..
i get3 milion every 10 baal walks(i play solo)

What would you say would be a better MFer? A javazon or a hammerdin.

I just started out diablo so is it harder for a newcomer to make a mfing hammerdin? Im just really intrested in it. And when you put only the str you need for equip is that 100? I hear people use charms to boast their str then put on enigma so all they do is full vit. Help me please =S Sorry for asking noob questions.

I was just playing around with alternatives, and the best combination I found was:

Cube, 4x combat skill gcs with life or fhr, gheeds, anni, torch, and 18x 7% mfscs with resistance.

This leaves no room but the cube to put drops....... and tp scrolls have to be in belt.

Any other suggestions?

This is a old topic, not to criticize, my hammy had like 4k life at lvl 90....I find using an act1 merc w/:
Hydra bow faith
Fort
Dream helm

is better than act2
1) No I.M.
2) it shoots cold arrow wich freezes everything
3) it looks cooler than act2 merc

i liked my hammy till it got deleted........

But other than that...........Good job man, gratz very nice. im taking some of these tips for my new hammy next lad
