You can look at the 5 less DR as the same as having 350 less health assuming you have 3500hp total. Not that big a deal IMO, its like switching from 3/xx/20 scs to 10max/xx/45life gcs.

Edit: And the tradeoff between the two helms, was that yours had 100 more defense, another extra 5% ar sun mod, AND 30+ more base life. So gg
