I'm laughing at his shot in the dark at a guess too.
And I should note, hitchecks aren't guaranteed, there's quite a few variables that are checked before a hit can go through, IE defense, AR, level, block % (not in corresponding order).

ya its kinda silly.
people also don't do long whirl passes for obvious reasons.
just looking at the number of hits on paper some unexperienced player might think getting golem slowed and staying in a single whirl as they pass through a player is actually a good tactic, and ya it will produce a lot of hits in that second or two you stay in whirl given the opponent stays inside the whirl and may seem effective when it actually happens. but then for actually catching casters and playing safe it makes a lot more sense to keep whirls short, stock up on the frw, and do quick triwhirls.

I assumed people aren't THAT dumb to think going super slow for more hits is a better idea.

This is just to answer his question of how many times can ww hit in 1 second.

Marvel told me he prefers to use fade over BOS on a ghost in some situations (even where dr/res isn't needed) simply because of the slower whirl.

but then again marvel sucks amirite?
