hey, im kinda knew to the frenzy barb... i just used what i felt would be good for it.
im currenty using a ebotd zerker, and a doom zerker.  should i just use double ebotd zerkers?
i just made him and im getting tired of trying to find runes to repair or gold already.
ive just started a barb but im loveing it already
btw love the guide!

ebotd can do in a pinch, but it is not ideal
definetely get an edeath for the other hand
and then get a grief and use the left hand bug, any ias should work if you're using hl and loh

use a raven and a dual leach ring (or just life) a carrion wind would treat you better than a bk for this build

doom costs so much to repair because it has a superior base, so when you get a grief dont get one with a superior base, no edur, no edmg
i know what you mean because my SA fort has edef on it and costs over 2M to repair

IM is usually an issue for most melee characters, would you agree?
who can cast IM, oblivion knights, what are they, undead

so a over 500% off weapon ed against them and some kb effects when they are in range is a good way to make them less troublesome, berserk with the grief and they are toast, 1-hit-KABOOM!!!!
because the faster and sooner you kill them, the safer you and your merc will be
once they're dead go back to frenzy so you can leach

as for other undead mosnters, it negates their possitive physical resistance altogether, giving you much much much higher effective damage on top of all that edmg it offers

its fast, has ITD, room or a socket of your choice, and adds a decent amount of cold and magic damage to every strike
you'll easily do 2k max physical alone with it, and all the other mods make it a no brainer in many situations

in other cases where ITD does not apply and there are not many dangerous or phyiscal immune undeads, whip out the edeath and go to town

team mates > iron maiden

but that's just imo

but it has an inherit indestructible mod so it is pretty awesome.

i would have thought eliminating physical resistance for probably a third of the monsters in the game (who notoriously have high phres in hell)

i planned this character to be able to kill everything anywhere without the need of anyone else or even a merc (he's just there because you can and he helps, not because you NEED him)
regardless the edeath is in my cube or on switch, available when it will give the advantage
but we all have different preferences of how to play the game

Is it better to focus on synergies, or max a combat mastery? Right now I'm wondering if it's better to pour more points into taunt (with berserk at a medium lvl and double swing at 20) or max out sword mastery.

im currently working on a build that uses only 1 point mastery so i can have fun using whatever weapons i like
so i can play around with using grief and lacerator, or edeath and stormlash, or azurewrath and scheaffer's and everything in between

strictly speaking, if you're only going to use 1 type of weapon then mastery would be better since it offers same damage/point but also gives you AR where synergies do not
the crit will not make much difference since you have a lot of ds gear

so damage speaking, doesnt matter, but mastery gives you better ar
