No. It's still on par (if not better to deny self-heals with DS streaks) with BOTD.
The reason I recommended it was because I tried hundreds of runs with a lot of configurations, and Arioc's was consistently the highest performer, alongside BOTD War Pike and/or Giant Thresher (which has the speed of Arioc's, but not the burst)

mathematically (disregarding personal observations from runs) would eth bonehew with prevent monster heal wiht 2 sockets for ez shael runes / amn runes / ED jewels be comprable and worth listing given the utlity?

Prevent Monster Heal doesn't work when wielded by a Merc.

To be clear, Bonehew wouldn't have come anywhere near either way DPS-wise

So itested this build vs my cheap af wizzy cryer 100 runs each

Result for me is the gavel build is 5 seconds faster in killing average and you dont have to skip phys immune dude

End result gold gain lower then my cheap af starter gf (using 6xlmed cs no ali since i dont see reason to go over 200mf
Runs take longer at the end because of the repair runs and loading times with tele

Gavel build little more chill but gotta say cost/return wise meh

But yeah after many many many runs on any gf build i would rate this build pretty solid but way more cost then any other singer build

I'd like to see how your runs look, with some video comparison.
I know a geared crier with max WCs and good mana can clear well, but my experience with them has been... awkward, until the damage starts rolling in.

It's real cheap to gear, since your starting gear is non-Eth Arioc's/Tal/Duriel's Cuirass or GBane, and you don't need any +skills.

Sorry im not into recording and stuff like that but runs pretty simple
Port or run up to counclil use stair or line of sight and hold down war cry find item in between most important is hit 105 fcr since from there u stun very fast also the uniques also use battlecry maxed for debuff

Merc looks pretty simple too for budget hon sudan 2xshael 1x amn cot treach with more fg botd treach over lvl 85 your runs gdt chill af

Edit/ what makes gavel runs slower for me are the repair runs and loading times but gavel more chill in killing ... this extra runs just suck

yeah, that's pretty standard. but 5 seconds discrepancy has been pretty far from my experience with this setup.
