This guide was written before ladder season ended, and he was on Us West non ladder. So now, ya definitely Widow maker is a good option. You will want to keep it in chest though, since CTA is better in almost every duel. And bo'ing yourself and switching to bow is a real pain in the ass. You only have a couple minutes before you have to go back to chest for another BO. I got sick of it quick, and either dueled with only CTA, or only widow maker with no CTA. But vs WW barbs, definitely widow maker might allow you to dish some damage too him when he's not expecting it. Remember though, when your holding a bow, your quite vulnerable. No weapon block of any kind, and of course no shield. Everything that passes over you will hit, and it will really hurt. Your going to have to practice not getting hit when your in bow mode, or else it is pointless to even try it. So basically, if he is wearing enigma, I would be Super careful, or most likely don't even bother because he will probably get lucky and tele/ww you at least once when your shooting him. I have seen a couple good widow maker sins though, especially ones with standard bramble WW sin builds because the arrows hurt like hell. Actually, arrows from a WW sin hurt more vs most oppontents then arrows from a pure bowazon. 2K venom damage with less pvp penelty then physical damage is insane.

Nice guide, but I have a question:
How do u catch up with a sorc, they can just tele away from u before u see them on screen. Especially when u have fade on and not bos..

If a sorc is tele'ing to keep off your screen, he can't hit you either. Trust me, that never happens. The sorc will have to come reasonably close to you to land a hit. As long as you are constantly trying to close the gap all the while avoiding any attacks that he may be shooting your direction, he will definitely pass by your dragon flight range quite a few times. The only class in my experience that it is hard to close the gap on is bone necro's. However, since magic damage doesn't require resists, you will have BOS cast, which makes it pretty easy to close the gap. Assassins run insanly fast with BOS on.

Also, vs fire and light sorc's, you can cast BOS aswell quite easily. Just throw on your jade talon and it should bring you up to the resists you need, with a little over stack if they have facets and stuff. It makes it quite easy actually. Mess around with that for a while, i'm sure you'll see what I mean in no time. Good luck

BTW Zarah. Shouldn't your sig read: It's better to lose 1 second of your life, then lose your life in 1 second?

thx for the reply Wu-banger..

How about a coa for helm, it has huge reqs, but isnt it better than shako?
1 less skill and no life/mana, but dr, res, fhr, with this +bramble, u can reach the 86% fhr easy..

and no, it's 1 minute, like 1 minute waiting before crossing the road or something, not always being in a hurry, etc.
And its a quote, I didnt say(write) it :-)

2-sox CoA is sexy but that strength requirement is not sad.gif.

I still think it should be 1 second, and 1 second... Flows better ya know... I suppose the guy that wrote it is dead, so I can't write him a letter huh smile.gif

Anyway, COA is not a good choice for most WW sins, however, there is 1 case where it would be a decent choice. If for some reason you couldn't get your hands on some duped boots to upgrade into good kick boots with lower requirements, you could always use shadow dancers. This would mean you have to pump str way up to wear em, and it would cost you somewhere around 400 overall life. There are benifits however, since shadow dancers are amazing boots for kick damage. They have 2 shadow skills for extra venom, 25 dex so you can save points on dex, and lots of fast hit recovery. If your wearing shadow dancers, you would then have nearly enough str to wear COA. A few more points in str and your there. COA socketed with 2 poison facets, and shadow dancers, with points put into dragon flight, would really make you a deadly WW / Dragon flight Assassin. Just remember, you are going to lose significant life. 3K overall is about the best you could ever expect to get. Most bramble sins will push over 3.5, sometimes close to 4K with perfect gear. 3k is enough, but it is a sacrifice. This is the only instance where COA could be used. If your not wearing dancers, then no, shako is 10 times better then COA is.

i've made both shadwo dancers sins and gore rider sins and i found that the increse in kick damage (even tho it is SUper uber helpful vs sorcs/ necs) isnt worth the lose of 400 life. and shako is better than coa 1 because it looks better and 2 cuz if adds like instead of takes away it tongue.gif
