hape shifters

Firstly, there are Fury and Rabies/Fury varients to worry about. A well geared Fury or Fury varient can take you out in a few Fury sequences, so don't underestimate them. You may want to go as far as disregarding your Shadow Master against Rabies varients because if they get a Rabies off on your summon and it spreads to you it will force you to play VERY offensive, and Fury will be all the more potent in that situation. You can generally play them in a nuetral trapping style and tele --> drive-by WW when you see an opening. There's also a few Fire Claw Bears that hit hard and fast. You will play them the same as the others. Don't get caught without your traps up, it can be pretty painful. Use Fade aganst all shape shifters.

thats why i liked it ^_^

If using a pair of runic talon fools with no ias mod on them, would I still reach the fastest ww breakpoint? Also, in this case, it would not be worth it to wsm glitch because although it would result in a faster trap laying speed, it would remove the initial hit check from your fools claw, correct?

correct, you get ww bp without on claw ias with runics.
fools runic would be bootside claw in wsm bugging, bootside becomes primary in wsm bugging, initial hit check is with fools.
it is worth it to wsm bug for trap bp.

hmm, that makes sense. alright, thanks.

A second question: what would you guys recommend for my fools claw, right now i have a pair of 250ed/fools/+3ls runics with 1 um. Would a 40ias/fools magic greater talon with 2x ums be better? This drops my LS damage from 7.2k down to 6.3k, so I was wondering if the 25% extra chance of OW is better against people with high defense as opposed to higher LS damage.

250ed% claw > magic claw with no physical damage.
50% ow is very nice but still.

the +3 LS on top of it should make your choice clear.

Ya, that fools claw is very nice. You won't find many better than it.
Sorry that I missed the last few questions, Max covered for me though :)

Sorry for all the questions, but making my first hybrid sin and still had some missing info after reading a couple of guides.
I tried wsm glitching with fools over boot and chaos over glove, but since my fools have no claw IAS, I don't think it works as I see no noticeable improvement in trap laying speed.
Given your experience with dueling, how important is faster trap laying speed? Should i sacrifice the +3LS in order to hit a faster bp?
With my fools and chaos, i did a quick test and can lay 11 traps per 5 secs, where as if I used 2 40ias greater talons, I can get 13 per 5 sec.

I guess basically what I am asking is: if you had to rate the following mods on a fools claw, how would your order them?
ED
IAS (for faster trap laying bps)
% OW (25 vs 50)
+LS

Or more specifically, would a 250ED/40% IAS/2os be superior to a 250ED/+LS/1os

Thanks again for the help, this is a great guide btw!
