Note: even without Fanaticism and even with the lowest possible IAS on Grief (+30 %), our Smite speed reaches the maximum 6 FPA with a Grief PB, Highlord's Wrath (+20 %), and a +15 % IAS Jewel (Helm or HoZ).

Thus, while running Salvation against Über Mephisto, we lose only the skill +% ED from Fanaticism when using Grief.

________________

- So, if the IAS boost from Fanat doesn't do anything with a grief hoz setup, why not use concentration instead? I get that there is a higher %dmg with Fanat, but considering that the uninterruptable would almost negate the necessity of FHR and maintain a constant 6fpa without any hinderance would lead me to believe it would be a better option? At 6fpa the smiter would always be in a mis-cast and chances of him getting hit in the .333 fpa downtime between attacks is minimal. Would greatly increase survivability + dmg output in the long run, no?
