If you think this would do well in PvM you're quite wrong.

Mana burn is going to rip this sorc up no doubt about it (don't give me that "but teh merc tankz it mangz" shit coz I don't buy it, how are you going to zeal if you're not tanking?).

Not to mention the required prebuffing essential to succeed in any part of the game. Quite frankly, anything less than 95% ES is really just a ruined sorceress. The prebuff is fine for PvP as you rarely die and you aren't making a new game every three minutes. But as for the prebuff aspect in PvM....100% not worth the trouble.

Are you saying he won't be able to Zeal against Mana Burn or that he'll die to Mana Burn?

He is going to die against Mana Burn. And of course if he is dead he cannot zeal.

Maybe if he gets swamped, but if he does that it's his fault not the build's.

It is of course the build's fault, he wrote it.

Mana Burn is going to wipe this character off of the living list.

If he even once teles into a mob of unique Mana Burners he is going to die.

Wait don't all ES Sorc's have this problem?

Not every ES sorc is 100% Energy.

But yes, a 100% Energy ES sorc will always have this problem, that's why you do not see many on the PvM circuit, just the PvP circuit.

There are a lot of split builds i.e. 40% Vita/60% Energy. These builds are very effective a lot of the time.
