Is 48 fhr necessary for any duels beside a 102 trapper?

So I have decided to come back to D2 after a break of several years. I played primarily as a hybrid asn back in 1.09 pvpeast. I used the old school eth cruel ss of evis zod/eth w/ stormshield ect and played the classic DF name lock WOF stun lock setup. However I do know that patch 1.10 made anything like that obsolete and it's going to take me awhile to familiarize myself with all of the changes. I plan to come back and play a GM hybrid asn and I am wondering if the build in this thread is pretty much the only viable option as a hybrid asn. I am not a huge fan of cookie-cutter builds, but I'm so far out of the loop that I need a little clarification to help fill me in.

to rape pubs u'd only have to spent like 1-2kfg

Or you could steal a bunch of shit and make a bunch of multis, but I hear that's only what the pros do.
