Cham makes life a lot easier but if it's too pricy don't bother, you won't make up the difference quickly with goldfinding lol

Also not Fort, CoH if you can, but Fort works until the runes drop in price.

i mean dual grief is quite a lot of investment, but yeah it really works
can just run it as zerker with 1x grief and it does great anyway

by far my favorite chill farming routine; Find Item is a cheat code since you get p7 drops from it

sure, its 1k per Lo or even a bit more if you want to farm really early, but 2k fg is very little in my opinion compared to other farmers that need Infinity or Enigma to be able to do things effectively



true but the issue with zerker is the leech
i hate using pots, i like to farm without even looking at screen almost if i can so thats why i prefer WW overall. but for sure if youre on a budget and can micromanage more zerk is the way to go very early season

You guys seem to be off the topic of goldfind.
I tried everything like you guys are back in the day.
Eth Crown of Thieves with Lem/Ebotd WP/Fort is what I settled on.
Anything you use otherwise is going to sacrifice the gold. Which is the whole point. What you are on about now is the best A2 merc in the game not the best A2 goldfind merc.

I don't get why you are looking for speed vs goldfind on a build with a wealth armor and lemd weapons? So you can farm what areas other than trav exactly? The only other area that's semi decent is Shenk/Fire Eye/Pindle/LK. But they don't accumulate gold very fast at all. You want speed so you can look for another low ass goldfind area instead? I don't get why.
Going to town to repair things? Sure you got time to do that but repairs cost gold. If you got time to run around doing that all day then why not just swap in a bo helm or a demon limb and buff your merc up instead. You will save more gold that way.
And you think the OG barb builds hold leap for 3min? You use the cries not leap. Battlecry initially then warcry to stun and weaken every so often. Leap is there to bounce over the pack into the durance or if you get surrounded that's it. What makes you think OG GF babas use leap to spam?

Either way your build is fun but it's not the ultimate GF build. You want to hork trav for the max gold you can then gamble it in the same run. To avoid the temp ban. I mean are you factoring in your gamble time when you calculate your runs too? Because that's the only thing this build is good for at the end of the day. Me horking trav for a mil gold and gambling it is going to be faster than you horking trav and some other random areas for 250k and gambling it in a separate game...

Merc killspeed matters for gold/hour. Gold/run is irrelevant.

There is no temp ban in D2R and no more game timer.

Sure but that doesn't mitigate what you wrote in your guide.

Lack of serious testing or knowledge you reckon? It's due to the temp bans in D2. You could spam trav about 1/2 a dozen times before you would risk a temp ban. The ideal time was a 12min run if you wanted to use your GF baba in 100x games a day because of this.
So you would be looking to get 1.5mil per run and gamble it. Or if you had a few lower gold horks in a session you would look to a few of the other areas I mention or do some merc buff swaps or join a c/baal run inbetween to level.
You obviously didn't go do your homework on this or even have a GF baba during this time or you wouldn't be running your mouth like this.

And without temp ban in D2R I can see why you wouldn't want the build I am using. But you are acting like the old guides were written by noobs or something when they weren't.

12 min run?

It was like 20 per hour limit or some shit, maybe some 100 a day. I don't know what you mean by the 12-minute run.

EDIT: and for what it's worth, I had a full set of legacy goldfind shit over 110EG% on belt and boots / Enigma of Duress. I played back then and had a Trav Barb; just never really bothered optimizing on these axes. Just played for shits and giggles, like every other retard on here.
