I don't care that theory - just try yourself and you will see that to cast lt first time can take till ~7seconds which mean you will be dead w/o super stacked resists.

no, you dont have to try and tank when you cast it...
howl the minions off and cast lt on the boss... step out of the way of their spells, dont get hit = dont take damage

it's apparently viable
stonecrusher/stormlash will take meph downt o half hp in a matter of about 4 seconds, from there to nill is still pretty quick
since stonecrusher has -monster def on striking, you dont need as much AR to have good effective chance to hit

well, if you wear enigma and want to teleport/hork really fast, you can put 2x wizzies on switch and hit the 105fcr bp without having to sacrifice anything else

Hmm you should also mention that on switch 2 x spirit swords are great. They hit one bp lower than with wizzys but you got +4 skill for bo/shout, so speed is still decent and more hp =)
