whether you get staggered or not is calculated from the percentage of life lost. With es% you will never get staggered.

If I go for 50% instead of 75% block I would get an additional 400life, which would be nice against souls etc?

I will also add 2x Wisp and 2x Dwarf rings to the mix. And use them depending on the TZ.

The vita build has 46% DR.
Does block work against them blowing up?

If you have a BO barb and good items you will be safe enough. With defense this high and maxblock and 50% DR, the physical damage is not going to be one of your problems. And vs elemental the vita builds are better than ES anyway.

ES sorc is bad at teleporting to baal because she doesn’t do very well against what’s in worldstone keep: souls, poison, blood mana curse, vipers with bone spear. And, I guess, you will be teleporting to baal a lot if you are going for lvl 99.

But I would definitely overstack light, fire & cold resistances to counteract conviction packs. I think it’s 260% to still have 75% after conviction, on hell. But double check this with tzone level conviction if you want to be sure.

Finally, these builds do not vary this much in terms of items. So there is nothing wrong in just trying them both and deciding which you personally like better. You may need some variety in the process :)
