Quote (cantero @ Jun 10 2022 12:19pm)
Tested it with two botd and it is clearly not 100% ctc poison nova. Wanted to do it with two weapons as plague are two weapons too. Topic may be a bit more complex than we thought :D
Is it because two weapons?, or is it because its ctc when you kill an enemy? Both things matter? Maybe it adds when it's ctc when struck? I'm not sure. Would need to create some items to test it further.

thats whast im using on merc, 2 plagues for the LR ctc. was hoping the LR would help my sorce but its not casting as fast as I thought it would. technically it should be 40% or so i thought.

some thoughts

1. dual wielding should make a difference, same as for DS. DS from off-weapon is added, but DS from both weapons is only calculated for each weapon individually iirc
2. issue with Smite might be the auto-hit, maybe ctc only triggers when you really hit a target (not just swing at it)?

might be completely off though, nvm in that case :D it is late o'clock

EDIT: amazon basin supports my point 1. it does work like that
regarding point 2, it depends on the wording. ctc 'on attack' always triggers whereas ctc 'on striking' only triggers when you really hit the opponent AND the attack is not blocked/dodged/... smite always hits and normal monsters cant block/dodge/..., so for smite both ctc events are equal in most cases although for other forms of attacks they are not
