I know that pride works on melee attacks (and so it works for skeletons). I do not think it improves the damage of skeletal mages.

I think it's the same for Might.

Can someone confirm this, please?

Same question for fanaticism.
Obviously, it increases attack speed of both mages & squeletons, but I am not sure it increases mages's damages.

Pvm Summoner looks like this :

Items :

Helm : Harlequin crest (superior to circlet, because bonus to Battle orders),
Amulet : Mara kaleidoscop (superior to craft amulet, for the same reason),
Weapon : 1h-Beast
Shield : either Homunculus, Spirit, Darkforce, Boneflame. According to goals. A rare +5 RS/SM is possible, but very hard to get.
Body/belt/rings/gloves : Enigma/Arach/SoJ/Mages (you were right on this part)
Boots : Marrowwalk
switch : CtA + Spirit

Mercenary : Infinity, Guillaume's face, Fortitude or treachery (4sockets, 24fhr armor can be used, with jewels for +45ias/+120%ed/CHAM).
Mercenary's aura = Might as you said

Iron Golem from Pride.

Skills :
Max : RS, SM, CE.
1 point : mages, iron golem, golem mastery, summon resistance, revive, bone armor, lower resistance (and all pre-req), dim vision.
remaining points : amplify damage.

Stats :
Strength for items, rest into vitality.

I don't pretend to know anything about Pvp summoners.

It's nice to see people trying to help others by posting guides. But feel free to ask for advices before doing so.

My guide is very good.
I invite you to try it yourself.
That's why I shared the Hero Editor document.
Try this guide, and you will see that this necromancer is an excellent baalrunner.
You can even do baalruns in p8 games quite fast.

I know the classic build with beast, and I used it for a long time. But it is not as efficient and powerful as this build.
Regarding golem, I find it too restrictive. It seems to me that my friend Ford300Straight uses a clay golem.

In baalrun, you can ask a paladin to activate an aura.
In pvp, it seems too expensive to use each time a new runeword.
(note that the iron golem can disappear suddenly if you run too fast for too long)

The mercenary is very effective at killing monsters, and this allows me to use Corpse Explosion early.

They lose to pretty much every build in d2. There's a reason nobody builds them on softcore.
