ZvZ is no different in this aspect ~ an environment with no teleport, that is primarily all long range missile projectile play
In this case, we want to be able to see each other more easily so the matches aren't like playing battleship
In any try-hard rank #1 ZvZ match-up, the problems with desynching and C/Ting is that it elongates the match to unreasonable lengths "some people don't have 2-3 hours to defend a slot each night"
With C/Ting being viable, no one wants to take a risk of getting close so they play the invisible pot shot game with each other and disappear around the map to cause confusion ~ this is harsh and time demanding, especially for the poor guy who is mediating
If C/T is agreed to not be used, the matches go faster "honestly they do"
The rules of any same class vs same class ladder are tweaked by those who often play those match-ups so that the match-ups remain kosher and have less exploitations
In the case of ZvZ "special rules" they are mostly designed to shorten the lengths of the matches, it isn't just random points of view from random players
They are written rules that have been being debated over for years now in BowaPK and every time it is brought to attention, things are tweaked slightly or remain the same, depending on majority vote ~ by the people who ZvZ the most in this game

from the standpoint of a mediator I am saying that any ZvZ ladder would be better off without the use of C/T, mainly because of demands on player time
