they're saying forty is better, and it's true in all situations

Except in ZvZ where you will be getting bowside (which means you'll need near max DR% on bowside)
In this case you'll need .08 Gaze (which kills 45 to 30 of your IAS, demanding the use of a Jeweler's of Whale (that makes up for the lost IAS)
This is why .08 Gaze sells for 800-1200 nowadays
Every person who makes a ZvZ, needs it

If you try to wear Fortitude in ZvZ, when you get hit bowside with only 15% DR from a Dungo or BB it's pretty much 1-2 hit kill
(worse yet for the OP, if he plays East/West and uses Jesper's guide, he'll be using a Nosferatu which has no DR%)
He'll lose every ZvZ match that he plays

I'll quote this from another actual ZvZ competitor who pretty much plays matches every day:

this thread is cute.  I'd like to see some of these big talkers step into the zvz ring and get annihilated.  As far as east is concerned, arelax's guide is going to give you the strongest zvz foundation

why would you get hit bowside in ZvZ? The whole guide, trying to hit max dr all times, is based on bad gameplay or what?

but at least he gives advice.

yes, wrong ones, based on wrong math (some idiots fail even on 3rd grade math)
and if that idiot would pull his head out of his ass he could eventually realise it, but hey, he is obsessed with people discussing if he is anywhere near #1 lol
nobody is "trolling" that idiot, just pointing out his fails, which he refuses to accept, idiot.

Another troll multi

They use every cheap trick in the book to fuck with me, not sure what the inside joke is at this point but w/e:

* Using multiple multiple multi-accounts to make it look as if many people are trolling me, when in reality it's the same 3-4 guys
(notice how these accounts always show up simultaneously at the same time to post against me ~ always within the same 60 second intravel) ~ If that isn't obvious multi activity, I don't know what is
In fact I sometimes think they are d2jsp mods on user-looking accounts
There just isn't any other way they'd get away with such heavy multi activity

* Declaring my math incorrect when it is clearly not incorrect, they try and twist up everything I say (and then claim it's wrong)
Example: (No a bee is not black and yellow, it is yellow and black)

* Quote me on things that I've never once said

* Tell embellished stories about the handful of loses I've had against other reputable duelists and then claim I don't know what I'm doing (As if I am expected to never lose, to anyone, ever)
Yes, apparently you don't know what you're doing if you lose a duel, every so often

To those following this thread I have to say this:
In any game and in any forum, the people who do know what they are doing, are the people who actually play it

Well said, now less guide/theorycraft and selfproclaimed 1# video and more practice ingame, thanks!
