A wolf druid ends up being mostly melee and fails to sorcs and such. Oak is retarded and gets itself killed leaving the druid vulnerable. As Mustang pointed out Wolfbarb can both BvC and Melee. Then again, Wolfbarb fails to pure casters that stay off screen, or pure super expensive zealers, BvBs, and conc barbs.
It's a fun general purpose character that is extremely cheap to assemble. If you don't like getting killed you might wabt to stay with Pallys or Whirly Barbs.
well, i can kill most caster easily
it can be a long walk but at the second they teleport close to you, simply shift attack anywhere with fury and you get them
blizz are harder but projectile caster are an easy task if you keep walking
barb might have more frw to chase caster more easily, but you don't chase caster, you wait for them.
Barb seems better vs high def chars though, but i prefer hybrid rabies for that

heh. may be right on dmg as i started to think a little more about it.
8.2k life on my wolfbarb
I do fine vs pure casters, they eventually slip up. or try and get close for accuracy becuz i run around fbs for instance. and BAM, down'd
bvbs using grief or a GODLY wep will > yes.
same goes for melee and conc. If they put some srs coin into it, they will > you.
i achieve 9k life on my hybrid wolf without bo (dweb on switch), but ofc with oak, but recasting is fast, but sometime annoying since oak is stupid lol)
