nice setup..... BUUUT what about physical immunes!? I got reapers on my merc for this issue...

"Going to act5..." sounds like hard work, huh? It's better than to go back to town 5 times to resurrect your merc.
With GA and CoA you have absolutely no IAS and no good resistances at all. Good luck having your merc struck into fhr animation every single second and dying off hydras due to near-non-existent res stack.
DR% on a merc is a perk, but means nothing in travincal.

Get some basics kid.

GA=90@res on merc = no fhr motion from hydra/other ele sks!
warcry=stunlock melee targets who get cloose=also no fhr motion and no dam!
mebe just 1 monster not get stunned!

and some leache, so he nn drink!
and 90res vs 75res = 250%tanking of a 75res one
100-90=10
100-75=25
25/10*100%=250% total
a increasment of +150% ele tanking


they give troble yes!

first of all, you need to ask yourself a simple question. Do you want to kill and merc is support or do you want to let your merc kill and act supportive yourself?

what you are doing is neither one, tommy!! singer barb + supportive merc is fail imo, cuz from exp i can tell this way you will never kill as fast as the two options that are worth considering:

option no.1 dual griefs and slice thru travincal yourself
option no.2 pure singer barb acting as a support

oh, so you dont want to drink 3-4 mana potions per run and stay slow?? well, your merc probably works nice and you cant switch out insight.
But in order to optimize the merc setup for your purpose i would give him crown of thieves instead of tals mask. Has the all important 33% fr, even has more ll, about the same life added and even 100%gf...
does he really need the +15% max resists? try eth fortitude or eth treachery, both superior imo.

i hope you already utilize battle cry to support your merc. amp form gravel of pain on switch is even cooler. maybe take 20 seconds to enchant him with demon limb, too?

i do both! a stronk merc and a stronk dam, and a even stronger stun! and strong tanking! (maintaing gold find)

my singer do 37.5k total dam/sec vs 9 monsters
my merc do 13.6ktotal dam/sec vs 1 monster
37503+13609= 51.112 dam /sec

i know a merc can do 12k on it own * 4times/sec = 48k/sec from merc only
but i like to stun+cast some+i like my merc to be up alltimes!
i could sit back and let merc do all dirtu job, but then no stunlocking/fun!

i wana do more then only travi runs to! no i not like drink pots!
no mana no glory!

ladder have been reset, and i made i insight eth great poleaxe myself!
and this merc do oven better then i hoped for!
he allow my goldfinder kill all (exept imune fisical) monsters ingame like baalminions





(it may look lower dam then my calculation! but merc is just lvl 89 atm, and the insight is not perfect!)
this merc just not get hurt!

when it comes to tanking, yes full game give same survival!
however the damage output from my barb (and merc) is to low to kill minions baal fast.
in 1 player game, it goes realy fast
i can do minions in full game, but takes alot longer, couse gf-mf setup!

decrefty slow monster pretty evil / add a doom and i gess the monsters stop hitting to, like warcry!

cold merc//decrip/golem vs baal + scallys = baal is ice ^-^

i think this bar would be a very good char in a team O.O
