@feanur thanks for your help. i have tried a few different versions (spent 2 hours editing and testing the single player character) and i do get some shock damage which takes 4-5 hits to kill regular non-immune monsters. the sorc can do hand damage too which gives 50k but it takes a while to kill everything around you one by one and the sorc is weak if she starts to melee since she gets hit a lot. it seems kind of fun and i tried fitting in regular sorc skills meanwhile but i dont know if i will have any time to start over on the new ladder. i will have the paladin convictionist in mind if i play again.
to the rest - for a melee char this is pretty good but you would want to do single boss runs otherwise you might get caught in between monsters, at least thats what it seemed like for me. gl to all the ones who want to try out this build

Killing non-immunes in 4-5 pulse means that you didnt stack auras ! or you just stacked 2-3 times and tested in full games (8players).
If you're interested in melee sorc, just be aware that melee damage, in its elemental part, cannot be stacked.
Indeed, 50K+ max light is easy to reach. To build a steady melee-sorc, you should consider :
- zeal sorc, with Passion phaseblade and its 7fpa unbreakable attack : kills fast enough to be safe,
- bear sorc, with its 5fpa attack and huge life : a real tank,
- grief sorc (9fpa) with decent leech to keep her alive - the best vs some immune/bi-immune monsters,
- bow sorc (faith pvm, widowmaker pvp), strong enough and safe in pvm thanks to long range killing, and revives.
All can be built with/without max block (except bow of course) and with/without es.
If built correctly, you'll have GREAT pvm chars, even without stacking.
Some of them may even be considered as the fastest boss-killer (~ java).
Here a quick guide for bear sorc :

- better life (few dext to reach max block with holy shield + 3life/vita)
- better defense / res (dream shield in 45@ ST)
- far better fbr
- zeal + high physical damage if using grief
- faster attack (4fpa zeal)
- less elemental damages, even with full synergies
- the use of enigma by force (tele)
