It's kinda fragile so you need to be quick at getting out, it's really a defensive build.

I have infinity on myself and in pvp it DOES help with cold damage aswell. The key is teleporting to them just inside of the frost nova range but out of melee range. Ele druids will ALWAYS stomp you btw.
The conviction really does alot to someone especially when you add in cold mastery. you'll probably be hitting them like they have 0 cold resistance. Sadly the build is viable but doesnt excel. It's just different
and very fun.

but isnt a df with 28% cold and a storm(mb)/spirit monarch better then infi? it helps out if they strike you aswell as your damage right?

imo no. infinity breaks resists which is important since i didnt max cold mastery. Honestly you really need to test things out. I like eth scythe infinity for a sorc. + Cold damage is great. But its the same reason you dont use a chuta's with a nova sorc. The infinity really tears people apart. You'll notice really quickly. Though i'd really suggest doing your testing on something like d2pk

Heck even open batle net + a hero editor with a friend will really help you figure out what is needed. I do all my testing on open with select friends.

also all pvp builds should be atleast level 92. only takes 1-2 days of baaling.


EDIT: What do you use in your off wep side? I prebuff bo + shout, put it in stash and get a

lower resist charge wep.

You can also buff with a 9es memory. you'd lose a bit of mana but you wouldnt go out of mana very fast and it takes stress off your life total. Just many tricks you can do.
