With MF and GF, any kills YOU get are calculated on your MF and GF alone. When your MERC kills he gets your MF/GF and his MF/GF combined. This is why this build is effective is he is allowing the merc to kill all and gain the maximum bonus.

Im going to use this guide, it looks pretty solid.. Only change im going to make though, is max shout instead of sword mastery. If this build is made so the merc is killing everything, why max sword mastery?

ik helm > crown of thieves

ik helm gives mf bonus
dex is useless, since you don't block and u don't attack either
leech is useless, because you don't attack
ik helm gives +2 warcries = more life from BO, more Find Item%, more defence from shout
ik helm looks sexy

p.s.: use nigma not wealth. tele is too important for survival/killingwithmerc.
teleport > howl > leap to push monsters back towards merc

Yes, u can max shout instead of Sm, but with Sm u can actually make some dmg.
This build uses Wealth, and its ok with it.
More Eg, if u are a good player u NN nigma.
Cot is better imo.
Life leech for merc, 150 Eg, Life.

i really cant say that i think ik helm is worth it

Why death on merc? He shoots glacial spike, so the corpses cant be horked, or am I wrong?

I have a goldfind barb who has no problem soloing hell travinicle (cept for phys immune spawn)
I see you use an act5 merc.. i prefer act2.

Merc has 28k Def
Maxed REsists
about 5k Life with bo
and does 12k Damage with might aura.

after shouts i tele to council. cast warcry (one that give -dmg and -def) then Leap around kb.ing councils and cast
warcry(stun) every once in a while. completely destroys trav

have tried act5 barbs but they just dont seem to compare.
