And never heard of that, but you sure about no CI;'s? because zombies are mostly cold immune and that place is packed with them. Or at least, I think so.

Nice setup, simple and effective, used this setup in 1.10 because of the synergies, but prior to that I used hybrids. Also for the people that want a cheap merc, best to include Nightmare Act2 Def with Vamp Gaze (shako if spare), Shaftstop (eth or non eth skulders, up'd when high enough) and Reapers Toll (or any high damage life steal wpn (spear, polearm so on). Getting a merc will definately help with Pindle if he is cold immune, about 25% of the time as you lvl up your char.

Now for finding your way to andy, my trick is from the lvl2 waypoint to follow the Righthand wall (anti clockwise) for stairs and works about 80-95% of the time, now down the stairs go north then anti clockwise = this only works 70-80% of the time because sometimes the stairs to lvl4 is south.

By the way, shenk is quick to kill also, just ignore the immune colds around him (basically draw em away by walking around and blizz him)

Hmm that could be my trick too, I know I have a trick but I cant really describe it, I just follow my intuition and tele around and sometimes I just know where the stairs are..

And I dont like to mf shenk because of all the immunes around him, its too much work for me

Nice guide, just what I needed. I started playing again after about 2 years of slacking and I need something to start up with.
Though I heard some rumors that MF really isn't needed, that the chance a good uniqe would drop merely raises by 1% each.. 300% mf or something. That the difference between 0 and 300% mf is only 1 percent etc. That I should focus more on dmg gear instead of MF.

What are your thoughts on that?

Well, thats are my thoughts also. I equip this sorc for some mf since it is a MF sorc, but you can add better stuff along the way, this sorc can kill very fast in this cheap mf gear, so I dont see the need of changing items, I find good stuff with my little sorc so I dont really need to change gear.

You could add mf by isting stuff, using ali ist ist and 4ist monmarch on switch but Im not that desperate.

a pure ice sorc can not run baal....

skills I think should drop 3-4more for warmth
than you do not need to use frost burn glove
use chance guard for high mf is better

shield I prefer storm. dam reduce and res is better
sk 15/15 res/req jew or UM
the rest is ok ring I prefer 1 soj 1 dwarf star It will be much safe for travi run

merc I prefer might merc+ DOOM can help the sorc kill ice immu monsters
even the monster immu to physical
but DOOM has ds and ow still can kill it efficiently


as all this above a pure ice sorc has the power to run all the boss in the game...
