It depends on the timing. If you multi right when they tele to a spot, the multi will hit a maximum of 4 creatures (since everything is on a 2x2 grid spot and multi maxes the arrows per square to 1 effective arrow per square/target) That's provided you pack your multi tight enough and both arrows pierce at least once. Strife on the other hand will shoot one arrow at each target (only takes one arrow for puppies/oak), which usually lets you get a second or even third shot on the windy. But, if you multi slightly after they teleport, multi will usually wipe out all their summons (since the summons will first expand out to a 4x4 grid spot allowing you to hit up to 16 targets). Strife doesn't require luck with timing, which is why I prefer using that.

Some new I learned today. Thank you, didn't know about the summons and spaces.

Thank you to everyone else for comments.

One the strafe subject - it also comes in handy on sorcs & druids, it depends on their style of play but I would always hotkey strafe - if they try to tank you without max block to stop you sniping then strafe can lock them on the spot.

As I said before with a few minor tweaks about realm only items & maybe a cheaper but respectable options on invent & possibly a little info about max/min dmge /mana on gmb rings. (I do find mana potting far too slow @ 7fps in hot duels)

This guide should replace one of the earlier ones as it covers much more issues - I do still think 2k+ life is quite an important consideration, but this will always be down to your play style & experience - I don't class myself 'very experienced' as a bowie, but I do play mine quite often ;) the way I play is often very questionable despite having uber gear :) (Im sure a few will vouch this as I let them down in tvt too often!!)

But the info in this guide was a refreshing read & you have put together a superior modern overview of probably the least loved 1.12 char as it's quite tricky to handle but the most satisfying & annoying when it all goes to plan!

Sticky this & get rid of the old stuff that no longer covers the angles imo - also will stop many basic questions about bow pvp builds. (If they read the damn thing - spoons at the ready)

Best zon guide Ive ever seen. Bar none. And Dadster, any zon who loses to a hammerdin, of all things, is bad. They're the easiest char for a zon to take out, unless they hack.

Well if you want a duel with nasty but clean hammers - feel free to pm me. euscnl.

Hax free hammers - ofc most are ok for bow, but some are not too worried about bows in ft5.

Forgot to add - 6 year old account, all friends 42 days < so possible that you haven't dueled hammer/bow for a while?

Thanks for all of your inputs and suggestions. I will take them into consideration if I ever make a new version of this guide.

But, I would like to correct any disrespect towards Kel. He is one of the most knowledgeable people on bowazons and he is one of the immortalized legends of zvz on UsEast pvp along with a few other notables. He is also the person who contributed most to this guide by lending me his knowledge throughout the many years we've known each other as noted in my "special thanks section".

Hard to catch you online these days Kel! (Though I didn't have much time to go online due to work + school). Your approval of this guide means a lot to me. Thanks~
