Doom does NOT slow castrate. As you said, you can catch casters unless they're telespamming.
With 40% fcr however (arach+2x fcr rings), you can catch them even when telespamming, it all depends on how skilled you are.

Deadly strike DOES work in pvp. Anybode who says something else lies.

No charger will ever beat my barb with 7k def. Ever.

You will catch telespamming sorcs with 40% fcr.

Attack rating does NOT work vs block. 12k ar or 30k ar doesn't matter, your opponent will still block 75% of your attacks. Good attack rating is needed when your opponent has good defense. Thats why ar is so important in BvB.

Lastly, my "guide" was really just a eq-list without explanations or strategies. I might expand it later if I get time.

lotsa sorb n stacekd res shields but other then that a great guide. n u dont need sorb for most things a barb can tank.

As expected he raped me with shield

When he used botd/doom vs my botd/beast I managed to kill him, but I was lucky.

The problem is that he has 20k defense and angelics (20k+ ar?). I have 7k def and 15k ar with 2x ravens and enchant. If he had used beast he'd own me easy, thats for sure. Anyway, I hope I proved my point that beast>>botd>>doom as seconday weapon.

To redeem myself a bit I also dueled his lightsorc which was a breeze for my 7k life 75% res 10 fps cast barb

agree with that, but I don't think when we dueled without shields you were lucky you won. Your ww dmg >> mine. I think of getting myself a beast again.
And he tottaly made a fool of my sorc the leap/tele/ww works out very well, even if I telespammed I didn't made any chance.
Next time, I'll telespam untill u burn out of mana
