Fair enough ...
Summon Clay Golem ahead of you and beyond doorways to scout the area.
- Blind ranged attackers (Dim Vision)
- Amp or cripple mêlée (AD, Dec)
- I CE dead people (AD, LR)
Confuse and Attract can be handy when outnumbered, as long as you are alert to the properties of AI affecting curses.
Occasionally Life Tap if your mercenary gets himself into trouble vs non-PIs.
Knowing which curse to use is a matter of familiarising yourself with monster behaviour and weaknesses.
