i would recommend 2 main claws.

one with x2 5/5 light die facets
and one with x2 ums

initial testing suggests x2 facets is probably best (over um's) but more duels (100's+) required to land on a final position.

At MLD you are either chasing or are being chased. Vs any type of Pala, you are hunted by the Paladin. In this match-up, you have to sit in your traps, use the terrain and your shadow to the best of your ability and try to survive

A question:
I heard back in the d2lod days that some assa builds was allowed to ho beyond level 49. Like melee assassin. Due to chaos beeing lvl 5x etc.
Does that still exists? Is it relevant for kickers? I think build was allowed Max 1 to traps.

In patch 2.4 of D2r Lightning Sentry had its synergy from Death Sentry removed. instead the synergy from Shock web was increased from 12% to 18% per level. Also, Charged Bolt Sentry synergy was increased from +12% to +18%. This resulted in a massive damage boost, to such an extent that we had to cap trapper damage at MLD to "Max 1 point Charged Bolt Sentry". This rule basically brought MLD D2R Trappers to D2LOD Trapper damage.

Trappers in D2LOD were basically dead vs x2 Classes, Bowa and Barb. The new runeword, Hustle, is a BIS item for virtually every class now, and for assassins it means they dont have to invest in FRW, they dont use burst of speed and instead they get to drop a tonne of points into Fade, which means they have more life then in D2LOD and with the Evade function from Hustle, they are way tankier as well.

Vs Necro, Sorc and Amazons, the removal of the casting delay of Dragonflight and Shadowmaster means that it is now viable to perma stomp a bowa, which in and of itself has resolved the matchup Trap vs Bow.

TLDR: The changes to D2R from D2LOD are such that the build we previously had in D2lod (Assa my level to 59) is no longer required. Assa's may only level to 49. We only allow druids to level to 65 because there is no viable build at 49 that could win a 1v1 tournament (or is nice to play with / against).

In summary, there is no anti-char to a trapper (when played well).

Okay, so if ur a assa who are not a trap ur cap is still lvl 49?

Well Bladesin is funny can make a huge amount of dmg 😊

And trap has also enough dmg

right, but again this is only for our events. i mean pub dueling you can literally do w/e you want. this ruleset is designed in such a way that matchups are balances. at lvl 59 (or 65) a bladesin would have insane damage, insane life and would wreck everything without limitations. However, as there is already a viable build at 49 (trapper, and even the blade fury to a degree) there is no reason to allow them to lvl above 49.
