Cham griffs, you can hit faster frame if you use tstrokes without the jewel

so lose out on a crucial 5-5 because your build locks you into it? why do that when you can get 99 fcr without losing a massive amount of damage as per my build suggestion?

That’s true but I’m mostly saying that if you’re doing high density areas then dmg isn’t an issue. In either case I don’t think it’s going to matter a lot. I prefer the snappy feel of 99 fcr and if there’s anyone else contesting me for the TZ it let’s me more easily get ahead of them and hit boss packs faster for the bonus on kill exp.

you seem stuck on the idea that pierce only matters in extremely high density areas. first off, that's not the case. your throws proccing multiple times will increase your damage output no matter if there are 5 mobs nearby or 50 mobs nearby. while the gain is exponential, it is still significant even at a low base level.

any place you'd reasonably be expected to farm should still be considered a high density area. you won't be doing andy or meph runs as a zon, you're likely doing tzones, pit runs, chaos, cows etc. isolated bosses aren't a thing in either of those places, even still you've got charged strike for those occassions

The main and only problem with Thunderstroke: you can't flex with it.
