You can get Weresin to 5 frame now with lvl 20 BoS and 100 ias total (weapon + gear) with a Feral Claw or 70 ias total with a Runic claw.

So I think it's still the fastest, just not 3 frame. But still uninterruptible I think. All Werebear attacks seem to be, even normal attack.

A Venom Bear is a cool concept. I doubt most melee people would be happy about poison damage, but since it's Venom and everyone duels in Normal now maybe.

If you wanted to pub with it, you'd need FHR for cast/ranged attacks even thought he attack itself should be uninterruptible.

I made one in planner.
Lvl 17 bos + mark of the bear on assa is 4 fpa according to warrens ias calc with feral claws and 95ias total.

Here is link:
https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/a0010nb8

Here is real stats:
Damage: Listed correct i guess as 1599–4591
(1599 + 4591)/2 = 3095 average.
It has 94% chance to deal double damage, so real average damage is:
3095 * 1,94 = 6004 average

Bladeshield damage (affected by offhand ed% and critical/deadly strike, can also trigger ctc amp) :
Skill damage average: (875+1020) / 2 = 947,5
Wepon adds base damage: (144+313) / 2 * 0,75 = 171,5
Total base damage: 947,5 + 171,5 = 1118 average base damage.
ED% = CM 135 + Gear 340 = 575 % ed
Total average bladeshield damage: 1118 * (1+(575/100)) * 1,94 = 14651 damage. (1 tic per second)

(im unsure if werebear somehow can affect bladeshield damage, i also dont remeber if max damage scs is included, so did not include those)

Attack rating: 22861

DR = 50% even prior to mark of the bear cast

Life: 6893

Defense: 8326
(55+118+1587+519+162+158+195) * (1+((88+110)/100)) = 8326

Block: 75%

25/4 = 6,25
6003 * 6,25 = 37518 dps + 14651 dps = 52169 dps and ofc 35% cb and 5% ctc amp.

EDIT: I precasted, dno rules. I guess cube with beast/cta + demon limb could be used instead of precast, and that u then increase bo level and werebear level with mara + arach

Venombear sounds pretty fun, then.

Werebear ed% should only affect the normal attack part of the melee swing, not the BS.

Yes, but i would rather use the bladeshield and high physical damage then. I guess venom could be skilled instead of COS, but cos here is 88% def and -93% to enemy def... So should be quite powerfull...

Anyway, this was the pure melee version.

Fcr tele version:
Arach + fcr ring + possible runic instead of feral claw to fit a trang oul's for 48fcr.
Enigma instead of forti ofc.
Then possible skill venom, and possible change some 322's with trap skillers to have stronger BF for ranged option. And ofc skill mindblast, and SM too, bos already included.

Fortitude with Fool's Phase at 100 ias has been working pretty well for me as an alternative to the JMoD/Shaft build. It's not quite as fast, but with Chilling Armor and Mark of the Bear triggered, its a beast.

Can no longer edit the OP, but 95 ias with a phase blade hits most of the same breakpoints as 100 ias, it just gets to 8 frame with action frame at frame 5 after 2 mauls instead of on the first one.

Throwing it out there because as I have spent more time with the build I learned that if you use Fort with Fools PB you have to use IK Gloves/Belt to get 100 ias and it's not worth it for that one Maul faster breakpoint vs craft gloves and 50% dr to start with Verds or SoE.

And the Fat Bear setup with a Fools Phase is really good vs Zeal and Conc, whereas you can only really use BotDz against Fury.
