radius is a bit of an issue but 14secs duration is plenty, and you get to save on gavel charges + a4 WP, can just log out A3 and rinse/repeat.

this is kinda what I thought, now to figure out a cheap merc setup now that warlock f'd all the cheap options

Upped Hone Sundan and Bonehew were always ok, although not ideal.

Did ebotd get expensive or something? Aren't they still just triple digit fg unless gg base/roll? Cham gilly eth coh you can have a 98% optimized merc for like 400fg...

Zods and bers on ladder arent exactly cheap, you used to be able to get an eth arioc for basically nothing, not anymore

it's mostly an early ladder issue

meanwhile eth arioc's used to be like 50fg, no one cared about that stuff

Trying to keep my spending to minimum, currently running andy ral, eth arioc and gbane um. Pondering between ebotd wp or fort , still trying to gamble a vision ll
Circlet that is similar to what I had on my NL ladder so that I could skip the enchanting process which felts clunky af ( for me ). Currently level 88 but still feels like merc is missing alot without the enchant.

Should i try your frenzy dreadfang idea? So that i could even skip gavel as well lol

personally i swapped to it for now, unsure if i'll stick to it but so far it's been marvelous
thing is you really need to nail the pop in => battle cry => frenzy til' amp routine

it's extremely effective so far, better than decrep for sure. unsure what the right merc setup is, though; i feel like once Amp is on, faster = better, so likely eBOTD Thresher with hellwarden's will (no fire res penalty unlike andy) or 3os circlet with 15/40x2 + cham

the issue is to maximize the value of your Amp, you want to use a renewed bone break sunder to break phys immunity and have amp be 100% effective on those annoying targets; you become a bit more vulnerable by extension, but the tradeoff seems worth it so far

will keep testing; have to sleep for now
