I have a bowazon, MS is useful, and a must to have for any pvp bowzon, but I never put more than 1 point into it. It is a 1 point wonder, 1 is more than enough, let all the plus skills on your equips do the job.

The points are better spent in passives, or in Java tree if you're a hybrid.

Many Hammerdins including me will just switch out our hoto and slap on a grief pb and use charge/smite on any zons. No point using oak/hammers, dies too easily.

You don't need a 180 degree spread to aim at something that is easily enough namelocked with GA in the same amount of time

The base lvl 1 + skill spread which is about 45 degrees is plenty

And beyond that, any good duelist can target/namelock just as fast with something like GA as with Multi

You guys need to learn how to aim  :sniper:

Your last thought condescends your first statement...
If you can aim, why namelock a GA to kill an Oak when MA will always kill the stack..

He's a stomping Hammerdin. The goal is to kill the stack before he's on you, and namelock with GA after you've walked his stomp/while he's retreating.

You're seriously trying to hard to argue this

(The Oak is of no consequance) It dies in 1 hit man

Random ground aimed GA takes it out immediately as the hdin lands

The point is that you want to namelock the hdin, not screw around with multi

Not sure what it is about this you're not understanding

Keep in mind GA knocksback much easier than multi

This is important for stalling hdins up

He's not bad with his footwork but I don't see why he's using multi-shot against a hammerdin
He should be trying to interpret where the hammerdin will land next and spam GA's into that area
It helps lay down as many frames as possible to lock up the paly when he lands
And yes, this paly isn't synching or using charge/smite against the bowa
Things are more complicated against a paly that can switch up tactics

24 arrows into multi-shot is a waste of points and causes energy drain in my opinion
Adding points to multi does not raise it's damage, it only raises the amount of arrows and it's energy cost
Only 1 arrow of multi during a single volley (or a single spray) will hit an opponent as they pass

High leveled multi is great for opponents who are very far away (ZvZ as example)
But against most opponents, they are generally very close to you and when this happens, high level or low level multi is the same thing
Example: A druid is trying to stomp you
Multi is great vs druids to drop the summons or even against a necromancer on their approach
But lvl 10 or 24 multi makes no difference when the opponent is so close that the extra arrows just don't matter
The smaller spray of a level 10 multi is going to do the same exact thing as a level 24 multi
The only difference is that the level 10 has far less mana cost

It's important to preserve mana in extended PvP matches
Multi is expensive to begin with as is Lightning Fury

I have not read the guide just heard of this topic so i checked the latest comments..
You cannot hit any character with ga that got minions up (at least not when he's on you) thats why people use MA, which also makes it essential for when you are versus fpk teams, example druids who have alot of minions.
Not to mention its the only way for amazon to stun several characters at the same time.
MA got lower range than GA so it is not longe range.

Thats just my personal view though.

We know this ^^

But do you really need 180 degrees of a spread? I mean really, learn to aim
90 degrees is enough and with less points added, you can fire (MORE SHOTS) before running out of mana

That's the point of this arguement

Mass spread vs. mana conservation

and this shit about oak sage is ridiculous, you guys need to go get some actual pvp experience
it dies in 1 hit from a GA, the hammerdin will never benefit from this oak sage because it won't last long enough to be there when he actually stomps you

Even if you wanted to use multi to spray it down, you do not need 24 arrows and a 180 degree spread to do it, 90 degrees is enough, learn to aim
and add your points into something usefull like *raising dodge* or penetrate
dodge is powerful while WSGing
while wsging you do not get dodge locked, thus high level dodge is the only way to avoid smites *as example*
This is much more important than a completely unnecessary 180 degree radius multi that eats mana like a fish drinks water

Sorry, not to sound like an ass
But if you actually went into a game and used a token and restated to base 1 multi
You'd agree with me in less than 5 minutes of seeing the difference in how much more you can spam a base lv 1 multi
due to reduced mana cost

You are one silly mo'fo ^^

Knockback mods are 50%
2x Knockbacks = 100% Knockback

This really is how it works, go try Googling Diablo 2 Knockback and read every site that you'll find
And then go into a game and test it for yourself

When this is complete, contemplate how stupid it looks when you say shit like this outloud in a thread and end up being wrong
