the rare gloves / ammy vs highlords trangs is an old problem, definitely
and its not clear cut which is better, not by a long shot.

The +25% poison damage helps a ton, but obviously so does +3 skills. You basically, as you said, end up weighing extra CS and knockback and possibly resists against faster poison rate, deadly strike and cheaper gear
and quite frankly, if I had godly gloves / amulet I'd go with them 99 times out of 100. Its no comparison imo

So yeah, I'd say go with the rare ammy / gloves, but only if they're godly- second rate is worse than the highlords
after all, don't underestimate the deadly strike. its not much with your high CS, but its better than if your rares say had no resists

So anyway for a final gear I'd say:

Eth Titans or Rare's + Stormshield switch
Griffons with 15/15 jewel
Arachs
Rare boots with resistances
Rare fcr ring with resists
Ravenfrost
+2 java knockback crafted gloves with resists

Interresting guide, very funny to read
As you give your final gear, and after have done a lot of tests,
I decide to give my point of view of this funny and efficient pvall ama.

First and for info:
- I know very well pure Java with its cons in pvp = abs... (my first char),
- 4 years ago, I have already test the pvp tele psn bow ama just before to try the "conventional *" ama hybride
(* 120/45, faith GMB, Forty, titans, Stormshield, 1 in fury... more Vita...)
- and at the end I have designed my tri-hybride (named HackZone / lvl 96 / Euscnl) which stay for me the strongest PvAll ama build,
but ok its expensive, need a lot of game play xp, and hight lvl char.

After reading your guide, I decide to re-activated a second pvp ama (named Elegant-Warrior / lvl96 / Euscnl)
I have test during 2 weeks differents tele bow psn; the first one as your guide.
As I thought, CS is useless in too much of cases (in pub game) cz too low damage and abs.
Ok you can kill izi low life chars with low resist BUT in the big majority of cases CS sux, sorry.

So I test one other way = forgot CS (and light synergies) and save all theses skill points !
I will not give you all the details but more Dodge, more Avoid, more Evade, more Critical Strike,
max GA, 1 straffe... are for me better investments and by far than light skills.
Ofc keep 1 in fury and 1 in LF !! and ofc max both psn skills
So you understand I replace CS by Jab, and keep Fury / LB
In order to be logical all java sks have been replaced by max/ar/life in order to increase a bit GA damage and LF... and Life ofc.
My plague psn stay efficient with 40~50k damage with plague in 15 sec.

My final Gear (dont forget the resist cz arrach and eni dont got) =
- Rare Circlet 2ama/30frw/20FCR/2sox = 2x 15ias/15all/ with add if possible like base resist
- Craft amu 2 ama / 18+ FCR / Resist if you can
- Craft glove 2 java / 20 ias / KB / Resist if you can
- Rare stats FCR rings with resist if you can
- ENI
- Arrach
- 4/40 ias matri javelins / Respl Qty / mods (fools is really interesting for this build even if lot of pple said useless)
~ 40 ias is a must for reach the 90 ias bp / 9 frames
- Stormshield
- Matri Faith is my favorite bow here (or CTA matri)
~ With 50 ias you reach the famous 7 fpa
- Tri resist boots / 30 frw / 10 fhr
- Anni, Torch ... really ???
- 8x 20/5, 2x 5fhr/5all
- 9x 10max/ar/30+ life or 27x scs 3/20/20 if you want optimized

Tip: Precast Fade is nice way here for reach max DR and boost Resist

This ama is really funny to play, and kill in pub so do it ! ^^

yeah I don't think I could justify losing out on ~5400+ cs that works in so many matchups even through tgods in many (for example, zvz against anything but a pure cs vs cs, who dies to plague anyway)
only in exchange for say +3% critical strike or +3% dodge
besides not having maxed fury (which puts you at a severe disadvantage against windies and hurts many other matchups), cs, while it might seem useless when ur dueling a barb or pally with tgods on, is far from useless against sorcs and zons, and still all round useful

but the real egregious problem there is dropping eth titans for 4/40 ias javelins- you should never do that. The only builds that use 4-6/40 javas are pure cs vs cs, and farcasters.
Unless you've got some godly +2/2 skills, 450% ed eth rep kb matriarchal javelins- then titans are better. There is no excuse for losing out on all that physical damage, especially not when you don't have any lightning damage on your fury.



Remember, CS is not used for CS alone. There is CS, and there is lightning fury. And while CS might only add +19% damage to fury by maxing it- its also the fact you're carrying the skillers to boost both and griffons.
If you only had one or the other, it might be hard to justify CS alone or Fury alone as maxing skills with skillers. But with both, there isn't a single matchup of all games where you don't use either skill.
And you can't get by with a level 1 lightning fury with no physical damage. Its dooming your char to be half effective from the get go. Its probably my most used attack in all duels
And as much as people rag on CS- its damned useful when you use it. I might jumping on top of a gris foher to stop him from getting a shot off, or chainlocking a sorc, or locking up a zon. It stops BvCs & BvA's from ever trying to chainlock a zerk. Chainlocking necros? Sure

When you use java skillers, you're getting +1 plague javelin, +1 lightning fury, +1 charged strike. Those are the skills you use. The only other attack you have is guided arrow, and garrow makes up the minority of your beatings by far

Hrmm because it shows you the skill distribution & items. And anyone who can't figure out the stats shouldn't be making one in the first place

someone tried to use a farcaster on me, so I simply sorbed her with my tgods+blackhorns+wisps setup and CS him down
so assuming I'm another cs zon, he fetches his pally and slaps on his own tgods+blackhorns+wisps, charges at me, and promptly dies to plague javelin in half a second
