by far the best in my experience has been a5 merc with lawbringer eth elite sword + eth arreats + gfort.

the knockback just helps so much

Hey Lee, what's the best BMPK merc for a poisonnova necro?
I was thinking maybe an A5 Barb merc with Dream/ HoJ/ CoH for 2x pulses?

CoH won't save him from anything really.. Dragon perhaps?

CoH was my fallback because I couldn't think of an armor
So Hoj/ Dragon/ Dream, you'd say?

Or what about an a3 ice merc?
Ice blast (cold damage)
Then the aura gear? IB probs won't hit anything, but if it does it could be useful...

The last one I'm debating is an a2 NM with Holy Freeze aura
Combo HF with Dream/ Dragon/ ???

Why not A1? Ranged is perfect. Dragon / Dream/ Hoj

But, A2 does have an extra pulse aura. I'd go with either that or the archer.

A3 can also work, with an extra dream shield.
