I made one, somewhat based on this thread.... however I use EbotdZ + Eth Runemaster with zod +4x Lems, works great..good guide

I first went with the whole "merc does everything" guide. As I lvled and browsed more, I was given a link to this guide on one of my threads. I first blew it off cause I thought it would be too expensive with the dual EBOTDZ. But I came back to it and well, this is the only guide that I've seen that allows you to do Trav in Hell Diff. I haven't tested the other weapons out myself but I think the dual EBOTDZ are the best because of the 40+ Life Leech(combined with COT) and the Mana Leech. They really are worth the money. My fire res is max and light res is like 73 and those two are really the only ones that matter with Trav. I haven't gotten a chance to try out Pindle or the other two because I haven't done much in Act 5.

The only problem with my merc is that he dies every run in Hell Trav. He has COT, Wealth, and Bonehew. His res are pretty low and I think it's the Hydras that kill him. I'll have to try him out with regular merc gear and see if he lives (since I'm not getting the 600GF from him if he's dead anyways).

But if you are looking for controlled killing, quicker killing, and Hell Trav (it really is a great difference from NM), this guide is the best one out there.

why is grief the best weapon for a barb in pvm? haven't played in years, sorry for sounding n00b.
