it's clear that with this character, you can set it up to do anything well, but you can't necessarily have it all with the same eq like other cookie cutters. as such, i've been pondering a setup that allows the least switch gear and the most user friendly options. of course variants depend on playstyle and expectations, but I would suspect most players would like an average amount of mf (~200ish) and be able to clear areas and kill bosses quickly, as well as rush a friend and do various runs, and kill ubers from time to time, all at a reasonable cost and finishing at clvl90
skills maxed: frenzy, berserk, sword mastery, double swing
1 pointers: pre req's, mace mastery, increase speed, natural resists, find item, battle cry, battle command
stats: max vita, 189 str and 136 dex with gear on (not counting weapons)
gear list: (bold are required, italicized means one or the other depending on preference or what you need to be able to survive, everyone has different skill levels but there are tips in the guide to become more skillful)
2x grief pb
stormlash (eth rune or zod if ethereal)
stone crusher (sheal)
ik helm (ias jewel, cham or ptopaz)
ravenfrost (if no cham in ik), dwarf star or wisp protector for sorb as needed
dual leach ringwith fcr and ar if possible
laying of hands
highlords wrath
war travellers or gore riders
string of ears or arachnids mesh
2x wizzy or 2x hoto or combination there of to achieve desirable fcr on switch
enigma
lt charge wand/dagger or draculs or marrowwalks (preference choice for ubers)
torch, anni, gheeds, max damage/ar/life charms, mf charms, resists charms to top off lit/fire, all as preference
might merc
treachery (equip yourself for fade prebuff for ubers)
reapers toll (preffer ethereal, ber'd or sheal'd or ed/ias jewel'd) ias bp's are at 45 and 75
guillaumes (cham'd or ed/ias jewel'd, equip yourself for ubers)
there are many other options that other people like to use for their intended purpose and playstyles, as well as budget setups that do very well, but I have found this to be the most useful for a diversified character because it offers:
-high damage and mobile main setup with merc for damage support curse and aura while maintaining fair amounts of mf. ideal for multiplayer or singleplayer games
-option for high fcr switch either to teleport or hork with
-option for high cb and cth switch for taking down bosses fast
-switch gear shouldnt take up more than half of your stash space, leaving room to collect what you've found
