If you're moving enough the chance is very low though. Boosting your life merely for the purpose of tanking a hammer isn't really worth it since it's an easy matchup anyway.

Besides, that entails a rather different breed of a bowazon anyway (ability to stack resists, less reliance on desync, etc).

I still use desynch whether I'm telly, psn, vita, glass, r/w, whatever.

It's just the combination of everything, - a little dmg from guided, + a good bit of life can add a substantial amount of time to the zon's survivability in back-to-back duels [I'm thinking pubs and TvT, ZvZ is a world all its own]. The zon's dodges (coupled with max or positive resists and 40+ dr), I've personally found, can kind of be divided into vague 'break points' --- using the word lightly. Assuming your dodges look something like 60-70-60 or close, A normal zon with above attributes can take 1 hit per 400+/- life and survive. [this obviously excludes blizz, enchanted ww, hammers, and the like], but GENERALLY a zon can take a hit per 400 life.

3 hits landed avg for a 1.2k life zon, 6 hits landed for a 2.4k, bo to 3.5k life and tank around 9hits landed. Each time that you increase your life in this scenario you would in theory double the amount of hits you're able to take.

This of course leaves out what's dodged, blocked, and avoided through desynch/telly/whatever.

It's really all preferences. I prefer not to town after each duel, or stress a single hit from an opponent.

Sure it's unlikely, but saying you never get hit [or should never get hit] is a bit pompous.

Also, it's quite easy to get all the things you need from a vita zon. My tellyzon [without the psn] still had 43dr, stacked resists, and 1-3k dmg with faith gmb [that's w/ nigma, and without +dmg small charms -- 10x 5/5's, torch, anni] On the low end my life was at 2.3k with out bo.

The wagon wheels aren't broke.

Yes but you are shooting at 8 fpa? If you're shooting at 7 fpa, then your 43 dr is moot. Its extremely difficult for telezons to compete with runners unless they have tmc. The only time I liked my telezon was against bm necroes.

I remain that you shouldn't lose a ft5 against a hammerdin unless he has a grief in his stash.

edit: I did read your poison guide at one point, but I don't think I saw this new build.

I'm not going to argue builds as I admit, my build is not the be all and end all of all bowazons. There are certain builds that suit one's play style the best. I could question certain choices but if you found the build that fits your style, then not much to discuss.

I don't have to compete with runners, telly is just an added bonus to my 150+ frw.

No zon should lose a ft5 with a hammerdin unless he's charging with [astreons works really well btw] a ++ dmg weapon, I agree.

I'm working on several new builds right now. And as much as people hated the psn guide, it was still extremely effective.

and I agree. Vita is just a viable alternative I think.

CHoice of base bow is personal preference.

there's no reason to prefer cleglaws.
