I'm curious if the ias calculator I'm using is incorrect. I always thought I was able to hit 3 frames with ebotd war spike with lvl 34 shapeshift
and 120 ias (60 weap 20 ammy 10 gloves 30 jewels). Is that wrong?

I believe its 1722 def total and the str req is 208. it's a good base for wolf druids.



This is a subjective question so the response will be based on people's personal preferences. I don't think people really go under 8.4kish in most circumstances regardless of what build they're using. Most people shoot for around 9k with a lot of standard builds. This is after BO with Oak of course, and these are very rough numbers



You can use Ebotd war spike at 3 frames now. You would need 60 ias on your gear (other than your weapon slot) as you stated. So yeah 2x 40/15s, HL, and 10 on your gloves such as Bloodfists should be fine. I think the larger question here is why you only have Level 34 werewolf when using ebotd.

20dr 25eias cannot be frozen makes verdungos less viable and makes rare/craft belts more valuable, raven ring is a byebye now?

It does changes a lot, eias makes 3fpa fury, more resilient on slow targets.
20dr is a free ber+coa, along with 25 free crushing blow.

Oh not to mention that werewolf mark adds free 500ish extra hp with correct setup. No other gears can add this ridiculous amount of life just by putting it

Metamorphosis will change a lot but only if it remains unbanned in gm melee leagues/ladders/tourneys. There's not any reason to significantly edit this guide if it just gets banned everywhere immediately lol.

It's already causing a lot of weird rumors/speculation based on its stats. It's clearly very good but we're not sure how good it will be. The consensus is it will be competitive with gface for FvF (but it might be better, testing is required), it might be very good for vs. zeal but perhaps not give enough AR to actually hit well-geared zealots, but most of all, most of the excitement surrounding Metamorphosis in gm melee circles is its viability for bearzons and bear barbs. It will make bearzons & bear barbs extremely viable everyone's thinking.

Metamorphosis indeed would change things such as not needing Raven Frost and therefore making everyone want 2 GG melee crafted rings, etc., but it's too early to make changes to this guide. Metamorphosis doesnt come to NL for a few months


Also gface/cerebus will remain significant competitors and viable options if you need an IAS jewel in your helm to reach a particular breakpoint. Gfaces and Cerebus aren't just gonna get thrown to the wind in any circumstance. That's my prediction at least

Honestly it's more or less a old school high end build if it does get allowed. Just a way easier druid pelt that'd be found (basic version not druid pelt version with some sort of skills) then a 2os rare but with Dr and cbf sure itll tilt the basics gear meta that's current atm to more of a top end crafted being better again. Only thing I'd be iffy on is the marks let alone them being able to stack unless you got a ref to watch and make sure someone doesn't try to stack bear and wolf marks. Either way it could be way to op of a item vs other builds. I do really wanna test with it. Might lose a frame on some builds but if slower frames worked back in the day on some builds I see no issue since druids are faster now.

For sure if it was unbanned you would not be able to stack both marks before a duel. That would be totally unfair haha
