You're prob right, I didn't do extensive testing, I just assumed the enchant fire damage was negligible. Also, Trav is fire immune so the grief fire dmg and the enchant fire dmg shouldn't contribute at all, right? So it should only be the venom proc which should be really small

Anyone done some testing/calcs to see if something like a 3 wc /3 finditem / x / 2os 100eg magic barb helm boosts hork % enough to outweigh losing a fcr breakpoint?

Was thinking about experimenting with that setup at 20fcr vs my 2/20/allres/126eg for the 37fcr

So it'd be sacrificing 26eg and 1 breakpoint for +4 more to finditem/potion and slightly stronger war/battle cry

You're right, using the beast+Needle setup now with Lo socket and the 3os LL tiara and upgraded the AP coh to an eth AP coh and I love it. He just wacked one without amp as fast as A5 does with amp.

It looks like Needle gives up a bit of LL for ITD (consistency) but otherwise more or less the same DPS?

Imo hitting 37 fcr BP feels great, but rarely does it translate into higher efficiency if you actually time it, compared to 20 or even 9 fcr.

If you think about it, there's 11 bodies to hork. You also cast warcry /battlecry/amp, and maybe a couple tele charges. That's what, 20 casts/frames saved at most ? So not even 1s.

But it gets worse.. In reality your merc isn't dpsing faster than you can hork, so even if you drop a frame or two on fcr, you're not actually losing out on that time.

Last year I participated in a gf contest where I capped 10M gold in 13:xx. Only had 9fcr cuz high fcr circ/ammys are expensive lol. So if you can do a setup to hit the next item find BP, it's fine as well. Either way, these are micro optimizations we're talking about. Personally in casual play I do like higher fcr as well, slap on engima and not worry about conserving tele charges.
