Wanted to share a few things I learned from my own experimentation:

Switch to your lem sword when you quit the game: D2R remembers the quick cast of your demon gavel amp charges IF you quit and are not holding them when you quit the game. I've tested it, don't know why it works but it does. It also remembers your quick cast for demon limb enchant even when you take it off

Demon limb cube swap with Shift+click. Learned it a few days ago, saves time, no risk of dropping stuff. Learned this from ^Inar for Wiz-CTA swap on a diff char and application

Still using A5 (2x grief, fort, arreat face), Char planner seems to show higher dps vs the setups you've shown. Only thing is that he seems to taunt off amp sometimes

Also, have you done any testing of using bone break? Studying 2.5 PTR vs live patch notes seem to suggest that amp and decrep work at 100% effectiveness vs sundered enemies (because only decrep and conviction got the 1/5 nerf) and seems to line up with my limited experience on fishymancer and my smaller horker data set. Wondering if others can corroborate this. Would lead to a 5x increase of dmg vs immunes)

Tried Bone Break but unsure if the Amp scaling is independently calculated for the Merc?

Have some updates in my profile, A5 I still think is worse by a sizable margin. Could be wrong. Big fan of Grief or Beast MH with Zerk last I messed with this <3

maxroll will show higher dps for a5 on paper but
1) last i checked it's still incorrectly doubling on weap ed dmg
2) a5 merc seems to wiff a lot, maybe range issues..
3) trav council healing likely means a2 single target burst is favored over a5 distributed dps

1) Does planner still bug for grief as well since grief doesn't use ED on weapon?

2) Demon limb seems to make a huge difference, it's not gone but I def see what you mean if he's not enchanted. I've noticed it tends to be if the target is moving but I thought that was patched a bit back

3) I'm using war cry to stun to prevent healing and it seems to be ok. I am trading for the items now recommended in the profile to test out though, ty, I do find amp being taunted off to be annoying and it looks like I'm missing 15-20k dmg cus I never got the ias ed jewels
