I dont mean to sound rude, but why is it so important to let everyone know how to avoid spam?

i mean:

- the topic having the approval of meds to be here
- the topic duplicated from the sticky one, just cos none reads the latter
- the topic itself having 7 pages of bumps

is this some kind of apocalypse message?

Step 1: type /ignorepersist and make sure it says "enabled".

Step 2: type /filtermsg *InsertWordHere* .
(each word you add, is permenently added to a filter, which from then on will block the entire line of text from apearing on screen ingame, if anyone uses a word that is designated filtered)

Step 3: type /unfiltermsg *InsertWordHere* to remove a word from your filter list.

OR alternativly you can edit the .txt doc like so,

In your d2 directory, there is a file labeled "ignorelist" This file can be opened with notepad++
and once u open it you will see a list of words you designated to be filtered. All you need to do is delete unwanted words from the list and save/exit.

I would like to add to this, that if you use a persons account name or character name as the filter word, they will be permanently squelched.
If anyone cannot figure this out, pm me and ill meet you ingame to further explain how the ingame filter system works.
