Great guide. Thanks for taking the time to write it.

I'm using this build sort of. I've ran with this and with GMB faith. While WF adds more damage, I'm not sure it's that much unless you are very high level... as the min damage on a GMB is actually better than a hydra bow.

The one thing I like about using GMB Faith is that you don't have to worry about your merc falling behind you as you run fast. I have to say, it's a little annoying. It happens somewhat frequently.

I am using a 3-socket circlet with 27 dex filled with 45 ias / 120 max damage. While I miss the +2 skills, which caused me to put more points into valk, etc. than I may have wanted, I think it's worth it.

The whole idea that a 3-socket circlet helm can more or less do what cat's eye does is fantastic. It opens up the ammy slot to atma's scarab, which makes a lot of sense. I'm not saying Andy's helm didn't do this... but a lot of people on this thread have been saying, "Use cat's eye!" over and over. I just want to say... no, using a ias helm with atma's scarab is way better.

The only real problem I'm having with this build is running wsk. In the presence of glooms, I get 1-shotted sometimes. Maybe I am not careful enough and using decoy like I should... but that is a major, major threat to this build. There just isn't the lightning resistance to combat it (and even with 75%... those bastards are still pretty annoying). We got about 0% with the gear listed here.

I am curious what your suggested changes are to make this an mf build. I don't like running a sorc in the level 85 areas primarily because I need to use pots in addition to switching skills. At least with the amazon, I don't need to pot at all (almost never anyway). This frees up my concentration to think about movement, using decoy, or switching weapon skills and not having to look at health bars at the same time. It's a much more enjoyable way to mf IMO.

Also, which areas would you recommend to mf? If WSK does not spam glooms, it's great. The pit is easy enough. Any others?

Great guide! Made a hardcore zon using this guide and she's a beast.

Made a few changes for hardcore - has 1.1k life before BO and 60+ res in hell (lots of res/life charms and a wisp ring for absorb).

Krem's right, if you use decoy properly you shouldn't find yourself in many dangerous spots.

Nice guide ImO... but some suggestions/things open for discussion:

In general on WF Zons

1. A2 Might-Merc + Pride @ 9 frames will do more Dmg over time than A1 Rogue @7 frames with Fana... should mention this.

2. When you use Atma's to trigger Amp you will generallly rely on strafe instead of multi --> again this would be an argument in favor of an A2 Merc, because you don't rly need Fana to reach Strafe's last BP. If you multi a lot, use HL's instead of Atma's.

And 8 frame multi is even better ;)

Yaf, I was just wondering if you're using Highlord's, 160/60 and 120/45?

If this is the case is this just so that you can hit the 8 frame multi bp?

Also how do you deal with phys immunes without atma's?

Slight question. Does the Wf HAVE to be a shael, can it be a 15ias jewel?

I need some help.

I'm using everything from this guide. But for andy's helm, should I really 15/30 fire resist it? Or can I put a 40ED jewel in it then get all the resists from 3frw/5 all res. sc?

I counted 80 ias on myself. And from what I've read around, the next breakpoint requires more than 15 ias.

My resistances right now are:
fire - 30
cold - 14
light - -12
poison - 85

As long as you reach the ias bps while using the 15% ias jewel.

Are resistances that much of an issue for your gameplay?

When using Andys, the best jewel if worried about Fire res = 30FR/15% ias.
If your gameplay can handle the loss of resistances, then use the 40% ed / 15% ias jewel.

In HC, yes, resistances are very important.
If you use Andy and LoH, they make up for the lost of fr, then you can put a 15 IAS / 15@ in your Andy.
