hi camden. this is the THE greatest pvp guide i have yet to come across.
a few quick questions.
did you go for max block/and if so how many points into dex?
for a dysynch smiter this is my gear and what would u suggest for better:
ber'd shako
kurast eth exile
highlords
near perf griefz
dungos/tgods
2xraven/2xbk/2xwhisp or combo
coh/nigma<-- usually i find that i cannot do anything wihtout my coh due to lack of resists
treks
dracs
9x pcombs (too poor for lifers)
my life is crap...about 2700 with 6bo cta however i do 3.5k smite dmg
a few quick tips would be great thx.
Ty.
Yes I went for max block. At level 90 136 dex (the amount required to wear a pb) is enough for max block with hoz and roughly 65% with spirit. If you plan to level beyond that just add a few stats if necessary since block goes down as level goes up.
Switch out highlords for a cat's eye... amulet is where you're getting your IAS from so unless you wanna buy some ias gloves cat's is a MUCH better replacement for highlords in my opinion. Or if your grief zerk is 40 ias switch dracs for bloodfists and your amulet for something like a maras to help your res problem.
For rings I'd recommend 1x raven for the constant cbf and sex dex stats; keep the other slot open for a bk or, as the case may be, a dwarf/whisp/nature's peace/etc
Stat yourself for an enigma. If you need that resistance, switching shako for kiras and wearing res boots is a much better choice than switching on a coh
Treks... are ugly ><. 60+ life waterwalks and/or boots with good resistances are much more beneficial to a smiter.
9x pcombats is overkill :|. And since none of them are lifers, I would suggest trading them for 37x 20 life scs; damage is useless if you die too quickly to utilize it
Gloves are your preference. Even if you don't need the ias, I personally like bloodfists more than dracs unless I'm dueling a sorc or a nec. Depends what you value more though.

camd are you playing east NL right now?
i saw a pretty good telesmitar in pubs yesterday.
it was 2v1 with another smiter so i coudlnt really tell how good he was
Not at the moment. And if I do start playing d2 again (I'm only playing d2 relived for now) I don't imagine myself making another smiter. Out of curiousity though do you remember his char name?
