i was on my fire sorc a few days ago versus a bvc and i had an idea. i look at meteor: 53k dmg.


wow.


What i have started doing versus bvcs and the like is tele away from them, put 2 meteors ( 1 in front of me, 1 in back-not very far away though) and then switch to tele on right click-and of course, the bvc came to me and got hit by it. of course, as soon as he is done teleporting on you he will ww, which means that as soon as you see him jump you you tele away, and fb him ONCE. tele to the opposite side and do again...then tele away...repeat



works super well i find. and you cant argue with 53k dmg.


maybe my idea is retarded, but try it. it DOES work super well!

hi great guid btw. Im ladder and want to build a fb sorce, suggestions for what type of build for pubs? i dont hav acess to spurs and fletch rings are a little harder to come by for fcr. Im lookng for gear as we speak, what do u rec... ty

hard to get high dmg with block build :/

yeah block is a little tough, but you don't necessarily need as high damage since you will survive longer with max block.

for ladder, i'd go with this:

helm - +3 fire / 20% fcr (or some variation of a 20% fcr +sorc skills) circlet (shael it)
armor - vipermagi
weapon - wizardspike
shield - spirit (35% fcr is a must)
amulet - +2 sorc / 15% fcr (at least 15% fcr is a must)
belt - arach
gloves - magefist
boots - treks
ring - 10fcr / 20 str (or best str mod you can get)
ring - BK ring

switch:
cta + spirit

inventory:
torch
anni
9x fire gc (with life mod if possible)
10x 20 life sc (with resist mod if possible)

i was think of...this set up...if i need to change something just tel me...all in all it ends up being like 185%fcr I was thinking of a vita sorc...think i should put skills on warm or chilling armor...of corce after everything is maxed.

Is this ok? I guess.. the wpn and rings is were I am having trouble with..I have wizzy and shaels, with extra 5/5 facets to socket with.. (I havent socketed anything yet..and I havent distributed any skill point or stat point yet...any suggestions? I only play in pub games and everyone id ALWAYS bm there lol..ty for the help this guide it great!!!

you HAVE TO switch your rings to Fcr rings. Get ones with Str mods when you can. For now, go with the cheap ones you have.

105% and 200% are the Fcr breaking points. So if you have anything over 105 but less than 200, even if you have 199, it counts as 105. You MUST hit 200. Replace BKs with Fcr rings and you'll be over 200.

Don't put fire facets. Go with a shael in 1 item (either helm or armor). 55% fhr from spirit + 20% from boots + 20% from shael = the 86% fhr bp. If you really want to, go for the 5/-5 in the other item (depending on which you socket the shael with). I'd prefer an Um rune for more stacked resist, or a +9 str / 15% resist all jewel if you can afford it.

With torch + anni + lifers, you can use only 10x life scs. There will be only 10 spots available. Get resist mods on the small charms if you can afford it.

Go with a Vita setup. Don't add ANY energy. Fill warmth when you're done.
