Would pefect waterwalks and switching a 20/5 for a 5fhr/sc in inventory be better than using treks?

ya it would but you will end up putting more pts into str to use gear. Unless you can afford a good 10fcr/20str/life/mana ring and a good 2nec/10fcr/20-30str ammy.

I find them much more versatile. Whats the point of building a char to optimize fighting melee....

Vita necs are more all around duelers, as they can handle melee and casters alike. Also they are way better in NVN

Tell me, do you find yourself using walls and prisons at all, or just speed?

Lol. You stand a good chance of beating them it's really not that hard once you played necros for a while.
