#2 is the fastest, but not the safest.

Few alternatives for the gloves could be dracs (even though if higher lifetap chances won't help that much), bloodfists or even laying of hands (only if you need to stack some IAS and/or fire res)

Well actually it has less stacked resistances which could be a problem if meph uses conviction, but actually if you manage to cast lifetap you're fine. Dracs could be worth it on build 2 though, since using grief lowers the chances to cast LT. If you use it, make sure that your resists are still maxed so that it won't be terrible if his aura negates them.

Setup 1 is definatly best imo - grief is a pvp weapon and has no place in pvm

My setup is practically the same, except i used a 15ias jewel in the kiras and then used dracs for my gloves. It's a lot easier to get a hold of and i still have max res under meph's conviction without the um

Oh and i just remembered i had an um'd hoz, which gives far more resistances and stats too. defence isn't really important vs ubers and you get all the LT you could need from dracs + LW.

hoz also has slightly more smite damage than exile, which is handy jsut for the hell of it XD

Gives approximately the same result I guess.

On a side note though, HoZ's damage is more constant, if it's upped, assuming that it was. A vortex shield has a higher max damage but a lower avg damage. It's similar after all

Just rebuilt mine last night. Had to iron out some stat mistakes I made, and account for the anni I got. Still love the character.
He's useful in gubers games because I can knock the stray skele's into the hammers. Started him at 7 last night, and got him up to 89 before bed time.
