just think a bit. with es you can take 10-20+ hammers, 83478374 bone spirits/spears/teeth, barbs are forced to bleed you via hit-and-run tactics, it helps immensely vs smite/charge and bowzons, it's an insane help vs windies etc etc. most hits wont force you into hit recovery since es soaks up the damage so few attacks will remove more than 1/12:th of your life, with a decent %es you only have to worry about leap and mind blast.

the gear you mentioned is ok for a non-block sorc. if you duel alot of meleechars it never hurts to keep a blockswitch in stash (+dex items that replace rings/amu/boots and maybe helm). keep in mind that the more %es you have the less important dr/resists become, i.e. life skillers and life/mana charms are usually the way to go charm-wise.

So I shouldn't do max block aswell? Just do ES?

With these items should I go for max block? I want the best sorce possible as it will be my main PvP character

getting block with whistan is betta if you dont have 7015s , or like 50% with ss

nono, either max or nothing. i strongly suggest spirit-route with blockswitch in stash (using whitstans, stormshield isn't worth it)

on my meleechars i always found es-sorcs with whitstans the hardest. just use shadowdancers, rings with +dex, amu with +dex, helm with +dex and make sure you got enough fcr and at least 86% fhr. shael whitstans is never a bad idea but if you really dont wanna waste dex you can always ko it. the whole point with a blockswitch is to never use it until you really need or really want to win a 1v1. using inferior gear (i.e. no block vs melee) forces you to play better so you'll improve faster.
