I would advice you to test it out. I get your point indeed, but its not worth to loose all that furydamage/deadlystrike to gain the extra range vs those chars. And ofc you stand a chance headsup fury vs another furydru/zealot/concer/zerker. I gear so furybased vs theese chars that i would do about 25k rabies. ofc it helps, but when youre geared for fury and the point is to get alot of damage in fast, grief is needed.

One thing I have been doing recently with my druid is just using a nef widowmaker on switch. Basically, slap on bramble and trangs gloves and grief phase - hit a few monsters to cast venom, and voila, you have a pretty good venom adding bow hit for ranged people to force them to come close to you, at which point bitey bitey

Yeah I guess is isn't fair to compare since your more fury based and i'm rabies based so we will differ on a lot of dueling strategies
