I figured there is hardly a point trying hell trav < lvl 86 anyway, so he might directly start with Bane (with um or some allres jewel).

The actual problem is more with finding the right gear for myself. Still missing the important stuff with teleport / fcr.
I have yet to see a Berserkes Coronet of the Magus this ladder season for trade. Or a reasonably priced teleport Tiara.

How does the A5 Frenzy merc with something like Grief compare to the A2 merc?

Terrible.
Takes forever to ramp up, not enough burst.

Do you still suggest building beast in your offhand? Or is it better to run 2x Ali baba with lems if I’m aiming for both good MF + Goldfind.

question: what level are you? usually level is the biggest difference for these.
you can't afford missing hits at lower level, but the merc misses a fuckton vs. Stone Skin

Stone Skins are pains in the ass if your Merc isn't on a DPS Chest piece yet (i.e: Fort/CoH)

2nd thing could be: use Battle Cry over Amp if the Stone Skin isn't Phys Immune. That tends to help a LOT.

Those are probably PIs who's immunity is broken with Amp but still retains very high phys resist. It's annoying because merc will waste time/dps on them.

Should just zerk the guy yourself if you're using the beast build, or switch to gavel and zerk.

Yeah, those are just the worst.
If you use the hybrid build with Zerk, you can legit just Battle Cry to reduce their def to potato, then Zerk them down.
